The Gopo Awards Gala - live on PRO TV PLUS and premiilegopo.ro


     On Monday, June 29, the Gopo Awards Gala celebrates the film productions of last year, in an open space event broadcast live on PRO TV PLUS and premiilegopo.ro.
     The nominees of the 14 th edition can be seen walking along the red carpet alongside many other professionals of the industry, from 19:30, in a special moment presented by the PRO TV star Amalia Enache.
      The actor Alex Bogdan will be once again the host of the awards ceremony, which will start at 20:30. He prepared a series of parodies with the help of 18 actors,
among which two special guests: Magda Catone and Dan Chişu.
     The musical moment which will open the Awards Gala will be held by Tomma Alistar and one of the special moments of the evening will belong to The Mono Jacks (Doru Trăscău și Andrei Zamfir). Some of the guests who will offer the awards for the 20 categories of the event are: Dorina Lazăr, Olimpia Melinte, Diana Cavallioti, Aida Economu, Cosmina Stratan, Mihai Călin, Marius Manole, Dan Bordeianu and George Piștereanu.
     The famous actress Adela Mărculescu will receive the Gopo Lifetime Achievement Award for her Entire Career (offred by Apa Nova). The actor Virgil Andriescu 
will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Whole Activity (offered by Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB). Two special awards, for their extraordinary and long
careers will be given to the writer Radu Cosașu and to the film editor Cristina Ionescu.     
     The voting process involving 600 professionals from the film industry will continue until June 29, on the platform offered by the organizers and the main festival partner,
PwC.
     This year the Audience Award for the best box office film will go to two comedies: Oh, Ramona! (256.115 spectators and revenues of 5,016,367 de lei) and 5Gang: Un altfel de Crăciun (167,025 of spectators and revenues of 3,162,478 lei).
     The Gopo Awards Gala will be streamed live on premiilegopo.ro and then broadcast on PRO CINEMA TV PLUS on July 1, from 22:30.
     The Gopo Awards Gala will be organized so as to follow all the safety measures regarding the prevention of the contamination with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, as approved through ORDINUL nr. 2.941/1.120/2020, published in the Official Monitor of Romania, Part 1, no.531 (June 19, 2020).
