“Fixer” and Tudor Aaron Istodor, at the Romanian Cinemateque in London
The program of the Romanian Cinemateque hosted by the Romanian Cultural Institute in London continues on Monday, March 19, 2018, with the British premiere of the feature film Fixer/Fixeur, directed by Adrian Sitaru. The production was released in 2017 and it represented Romania`s last year proposal for the Oscars.
Usually, the premieres of the Romanian Cinemateque are followed y Q&A sessions, so this time, the screening of Fixer will be attended by Tudor Aaron Istodor, who plays the lead part. Fixer, Adrian Sitaru`s fifth feature film, with a script written by Claudia and Adrian Silișteanu, deals with the moral dilemmas of the world of journalism.
The Romanian Cinemateque is one of the permanent ICR London programmes, which is meant to promote the Romanian films of all time. Starting with 2017, the Cinematheque presents a series of recent Romanian films which were not distributed by the British networks.
