Montréal World Film Festival (24 August – 4 September 2017) included in this year's programme seven Romanian productions, short and feature films.
Cine a ucis Crăciunul? / Who Killed Christmas (directed by
Dinu Tănase) was selected in the international competition, and another three feature films will be screened within the section Focus on World Cinema:
Octav (directed by Sergiu Ioan Celebidachi),
Perfect sănătos / Perfectly Healthy (directed by
Anca Damian) and
Dansul soarelui / Sun Dance (directed by Cornel Gheorghiță).
The shorts competition will present the following productions:
Offstage (directed by
Andrei Huțuleac),
Karmasutra (directed by
Cristian Bota) and
Prima lovitură / The First Blow (directed by Peter Kerek).
Montréal World Film Festival was set up in 1977 and is the only competition festival in North America accredited by FIAPF - International Federation of Film Producers Associations.
