The Romanian Film Festival from Seattle 2016


     The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, in partnership with the American Romanian Cultural Society (ARCS) in Seattle present the third edition of the Romanian Film Festival, “One Eye Laughing, One Eye Crying: [Be] Longing”, which will take place from the 18th until the 20th of November 2016, at the SIFF Cinema Uptown (511 Queen Anne Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109).
     During the event, the following Romanian films will be screened: Aliyah DaDa (directed by Oana Giurgiu), Why me? (directed by Tudor Giurgiu), Dogs (directed by Bogdan Mirică), Silent Wedding (directed by Horațiu Mălăele), Mercy Street (directed by Ștefan & Alexandru Buzea, Nicolae Radu), By the Rails (directed by Cătălin Mitulescu), Happy Funerals (directed by Horațiu Mălăele).
     The special guests of the festival are: Horațiu Mălăele, who will also perform a theatre show, Tudor Giurgiu, Oana Giurgiu, Monica Filimon, Robert Horton and Maryna Ajaja.
