The Romanian Film Festival “Reinventing Realism – New Cinema from Romania” will take place in Washington, D.C. from May 13 to June 2014, 2017.
The event is organized by the Embassy of Romania to the USA in partnership with two American cultural institutions, National Gallery of Art and American Film Institute, as well as with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York.
The special guests of the festival are the director
Corneliu Porumboiu and the actors
Gheorghe Visu,
Cuzin Toma and
Andreea Vasile, who will be present after the screenings for Q&A sessions with the audience.
