Romanian Film Festival in London,  April 18-22, 2018


     The 14th edition of the Romanian Film Festival in London takes place from April 18 to April 22, 2018, under the title “Lost Hearts”. The screenings take place at the famous theatre in the center of London – Curzon Soho.
     The festival presents exceptional Romanian film productions: Pororoca (directed by Constantin Popescu),  Breaking News (directed by Iulia Rugină), Ana, mon amour (directed by Călin Peter Netzer), Marița (directed by Cristi Iftime) and Charleston(directed by Andrei Creţulescu).
     The Romanian filmmakers who will attend the screenings are the directors Cristi Iftime (Marița) and Andrei Crețulescu (Charleston), the actor Bogdan Dumitrache (Pororoca) and the producers Bogdan Crăciun (Breaking News), Oana Iancu (Ana, mon amour) and Codruța Crețulescu (Charleston). The Q&As with the special guests are hosted by the British journalists Ian Haydn Smith and Mike Phillips.

The festival management is made by the British artistic consulting company Profusion  We are an independent organization, a small group of passionate people, dedicated to their work, who are keen on presenting each year outstanding  Romanian film productions to the British audience. The purpose of the Romanian Film Festival in London is to communicate with the audience which is very open to celebrating the success of the Romanian film”, Ramona Mitrică, the festival director says.
