The Aristoteles Documentaries Can Be Watched on Cinepub

“Very few people know how many things Dan Nuțu and Cristina Hoffman have done in and for the Romanian cinema before they left the country, but also after 1989. Even the motto that Dan has kept on the Aristoteles frontispiece for 13 years is old school for most of us (Jean Luc – who?). Two actors, two filmmakers, two special people teamed up by a common passion, had the strength, the generosity and the courage to come back to Romania, very long time after the films of their youth and to embark in an adventure with and for a new youth. How many projects, workshops can display such a valuable portfolio of internationally awarded independent projects? Cinepub has the honor of presenting an important selection of the most long-lasting Romanian independent workshop, which willfully continues to educate, to shoot films, to tell stories and to move hearts.” Lucian Georgescu, CINEPUB founder.
On the day when the former workshop graduate Adina Pintilie has the international premiere of her feature directorial debut at the Berlin International Film Festival, Touch Me Not / Nu mă atinge-mă, Cinepub made public the partnership with one of the most important cultural projects in Romania. The Cinepub platform will constantly present Aristoteles Workshop documentaries that have been made during the past 13 years.
The film of the week on Cinepub is the documentary signed by Cătălin Mușat, The Flying Shepherd / Ciobanul zburător. Made during the 2007 Aristoteles Workshop, the documentary received a special mention at the Locarno International Film Festival.
