Dana Bunescu, the special guest of the Romanian Film Days Caravan in Bacău


   On the last week end of June (from 28 to 30), the Romanian Film Days Caravan will be in Bacău for three days, with three of the latest Romanian films. The screenings will take place in the Cathedral Park. The access is free.
On June 30, on the occasion of the screening of The Distance Between Me and Me / Distanța dintre mine și mine, directed by Mona Nicoară, the editor Dana Bunescu will be present to introduce the film and to talk to the film lovers in Bacău, after the film ends. Dana Bunescu is the winner of the Silver Bear of the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival for the editing of Ana, Mon Amour.

Friday, June  28, 21:00 –I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians / Îmi este indiferent dacă în istorie vom intra ca barbari”, directed by Radu Jude (140 min.)
Saturday, June 29, 21:00 - Lemonade, directed by Ioana Uricaru (88 min.)
Sunday, June 30, 21:00 – The Distance Between Me and Me / Distanța dintre mine și mine, directed by Mona Nicoară and Dana Bunescu (89 minuts) -  Screening in the presence of Dana Bunescu, followed by a Q&A.
     Every year the Romanian Film Days Caravan brings Romanian films in towns with no cinemas or in the towns where the Romanian films are not promoted enough. The Caravan itinerary is available on the website. The project is presented by Dedeman, organized by Voodoo Films and the Cinemascop Association, in partnership with the Ingenious Drama Association and financed by the Romanian Film Center.
