At the tenth Edition of Gopo Awards Gala, actor
Constantin Drăgănescu will be paid homage to by being granted the Award for Entire Performing Activity, and actor and stuntman Paul Fister is to be granted the Special Prize.
Constantin Drăgănescu began his acting career on the stages of the theatres of Constanța and Piatra Neamț, and later he was hired by Bulandra Theatre in Bucharest. In total, ten years of stage performing, followed, in 1971, by his first appearance on the big screen with a role in the film by
Manole Marcus,

Constantin Drăgănescu stars in two of the features nominated for the 2016 Gopo Awards:
Carmen and
Un etaj mai jos (One Floor Below).
The Award for Entire Performing Activity is offered by Apa Nova București.
Paul Fister starred in all the features made by
Sergiu Nicolaescu, and, in parallel, he also played as an actor and stuntman in productions by
Gheorghe Vitanidis (
Mușchetarul român,
Colierul de turcoaze) (
The Romanian Musketeer, The Turquoise Necklace), by
Mircea Moldovan (
Pintea,
Munții în flăcări) (
Pintea, Mountains in Flames), as well as in two of the three films making up the „Transylvanian” trilogy (
Profetul, aurul și ardelenii and
Pruncul, petrolul și ardelenii). The latest decade brought him parts, as an actor and stuntman, in international productions (
Epicenter,
BloodRayne,
7 Seconds and
Dead in Tombstone), and also in two Romanian features:
Domnișoara Christina (Miss Christina), directed by
Alexandru Maftei, and
Aferim!, directed by
Radu Jude.
The Gopo Awards Gala will be held on March 28th, 2016, at „I.L. Caragiale” National Theatre of Bucharest.
