On Sunday, March 24. the 12th edition of the One World Romania International Documentary and Human Rights Festival ended. Its 10 days were filled with extraordinary films and interesting debates about the evolution of the Romanian society in the past 30 years.
Though this year`s edition is over, the mission of the One World Romania Association continues. Starting with April 1, the partnership with the DocAlliance platform translates into the fact that five of the OWR 12 films will be available online, for two weeks. The five documentaries are:
Coby, The Divide, Unconfessions, Four parts of a folding screen and
One or two questions.
All the projects of the associations continue during the entire year. The KineDok alternative distribution program will retake the screenings in the partner locations all over the country. The One World Romania in School educational program continues the coordination of the film clubs in the high schools in Bucharest and around the country and the organizing of workshops for high school teachers and students and many other things that you can find out about on the OWR website.
You can support the mission of the One World Romania Association and the developing of the projects of the association by becoming an “OWR friend”. You can also depose to ANAF the 230 Declaration, by means of which you can redirect one percent of the annual income tax to the One World Romania Association.
