Romanian Film Caravan reaches Călărași


     The City Hall of Călăraşi Municipality, together with CineCultura Association launch an invitation to screenings of classical Romanian films, to be held during 8-10 May, at the “Barbu Ştirbei” Performance Hall of the County Cultural Centre in Călăraşi.
     The screenings are part of the cultural-educational project “Romanian Film Caravan – Books and Films”. Thus, children are invited to watch, together with their parents, grandparents and teachers, movies such as: Mama (Mother) (directed by Elisabeta Bostan), O noapte furtunoasă (A Stormy Night) (directed by Jean Georgescu), De-aş fi Harap Alb (If I Were Harap Alb) (directed by Ion Popescu Gopo), Dumbrava minunată (The Wonderful Grove) (directed by Gheorghe Naghi), Baltagul (The Hatchet) (directed by Mircea Mureşan), Cuibul de viespi (The Wasps' Nest) (directed by Horea Popescu), Cei care plătesc cu viaţa (Those Who Pay with Their Lives) (directed by Şerban Marinescu), Moromeții (directed by Stere Gulea) and Neamul Şoimăreştilor (The Șoimărești Clan) (directed by Mircea Drăgan).
     Admission will be free of charge.
