Docuart Caravan arrives in Vălenii de Munte


     The second stop-over of the Docuart Caravan is to be made on Friday, 18 March, starting at 4:00 pm, at the Cultural Centre in Vălenii de Munte.
     The event will include screenings of features that won awards at Bucharest Docuart Fest 2015. At 4:00 pm, the feature Românești will be screened, directed by Artur Borusz, a documentary about the cave located in Românești, a space of therapy through art. From 4:30 pm, Călușarii din Bârla (The Căluș Dancers from Bârla), by Adriana Oprea, is to present the ritual dimension of the Căluș, a mystical esoteric dance turned into a festive dance by communist propaganda. In closing, Roboțelul de Aur (The Golden Little Robot), directed by Radu Mocanu and Mihai Dragolea, will present the story of multiple boxing champion Steluța Duță.
     Docuart Caravan is to set up further screenings in Baia-Mare, Târgu-Jiu, Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara. Admission will be free of charge.
     The project is developed by the Docuart Association, and co-financed by the National Filmmaking Centre.
