The Docuart Caravan arrives in Vălenii de Munte

The Docuart Caravan will screen a series of documentary films on Friday, 17 March, at the Vălenii de Munte Cultural Center, starting at 5:00 p.m. The entrance is free of charge.
The event is dedicated to the promotion of Romanian documentaries in several cities in the country. This is the third consecutive year it takes place in Vălenii de Munte. The program will include two rockumentaries awarded at the Bucharest Docuart Fest 2016. From 5:15 p.m. the audience is invited to watch 100 de Movile/ 100 Rising (directed by Max Ciorbă), a film about a Swiss searching for Romanian musicians interested in preserving folklore, be it mixed with jazz or hip hop.
Starting at 6:15 p.m. Imagini din vis/ Dream Images (directed by Sorin Luca) will be screened, a documentary that won the Docuart Fest Grand Prix in 2016. The protagonist is Rodion Roșca Ladislau, a pioneer of Romanian 70s electronic music, persecuted by the communist party, who is living today in the countryside, still following his own rules.
The next stop of the caravan will be Târgu Jiu.
The entrance is free of charge (subject to availability).
