On Friday, 3 March, the Caravan's programme will start at 17:30 with the documentary
The Projectionist (directed by Norbert Fodor), carrying on with 3 students' films:
10:34 to Belgrade (directed by
Ioana Grigore),
Capoeira, Dance of Freedom (directed by Rista Enxhi) and
Stories in Tea Cups (directed by Mirona Radu). From 19:15,
Doar o răsuflare / A Mere Breath (directed by
Monica Lăzurean-Gorgan) will be screened
, a tableau of family relationships. For the end, alongside director
Cornel Mihalache, the viewers will see the feature film
Un film mai puțin vesel, mai mult trist, poetic și sfătos / A Film Less Cheerful, More Sad, Poetic and Wise.
Capoeira, Dance of Freedom and
Stories in Tea Cups will be followed by talks with the filmmakers.
On Saturday, the screenings will start at 16:30 with
Perfection is Forever, a co-production with Great Britain, directed by Mara Trifu. Then, the programme will continue with a fragment of the Roma minority life depicted in
Angela (directed by Botond Pusok), and with the winner of the Best Cinematography Award at Bucharest Docuart Fest 2016 –
Ultimul căldărar / The Last Cauldron Maker (directed by Cosmin Bumbuț & Elena Stancu). From 19:00, it is scheduled an anthropological journey into today Romanian music through
100 de movile /
100 Risings with director Max Ciorbă, and the event will wrap up with the screening of the winner of the Docuart Fest 2016 Grand Trophy –
Imagini din vis / Dream Images (directed by Sorin Luca). The makers of the latter two films will talk with the viewers at the end of the screenings.
