Călin Peter Netzer, in the GWFF jury at Berlinale

     GWFF Best First Feature Award is an award given to the film directors for their feature debut. 18 films are nominated for this award; all of them are included in the festival sections: Official Competition, Panorama, Forum, Generation and Perspective Deutsches Kino.  
     The 50,000 Euros award is offered by Gesellschaft zur Wahrnehmung von Film- und Fernsehrecht, a society dedicated to safeguarding film and television rights. The prize money is to be split between the producer and the director of the winning film.
     The 2018 jury is made of the Romanian film director Călin Peter Netzer, Jonas Carpignano from Italy and Noa Regev from Israel.
