Docuart Cultural Association and the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) announce the first edition of Bucharest Art Film Festival, to be held between 8-11 September, 2016 at Cinema Farmers' Museum (MȚR) (3 Monetăriei Street, Sector 1).
The event intends to bring Bucharest viewers the best international films on art, photography, collectors and artists of all media. The programme will include screenings, but also a series of related activities such as masterclass sessions and debates, exhibitions, special events –
the entire official programme being still to be communicated.
This first edition of the art festival is dedicated to Constantin Brâncuși, bringing into focus rich materials on his life and work, in the year celebrating the anniversary of 140 years since the great sculptor's birth.
The event is organised by Docuart Cultural Association and the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR), in partnership with the Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN) and the National Farmers' Museum (MȚR).
