will be part of the jury of the Ceau, Cinema!
competition. The 5th edition of the festival will take place in Timişoara and Gottlob, from July 19 to 22, 2018.
The three members of the jury will give the 1,500 Euro Big Prize, which starting with this year will be named the “Ceau, Cinema! Răzvan Georgescu” Trophy.
Besides the “Ceau, Cinema! Răzvan Georgescu” Trophy decided by the jury, the viewers will be able to vote the films from the competition so that the 500 Euro Audience Award may be given. After voting, the viewers of the films in competition may win a bicycle offered by Pegas.
Just like at the previous editions, a 1,000 Euro Vitas Romania Trophy will also be given for an independent film or for the first or the second film.
The films in all the sections of the festival are eligible for this award which will be given by the Ceau, Cinema!
team and Vitas Romania.
competition which will include 6 films, was created with the purpose of offering a space to the filmmakers from the countries with traditional minorities in the Banat area (Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Germany, Israel, Italy, Poland, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovaia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary). The project is done with the support of the Romanian National Film Center (CNC) and of the Timiș County Council.
The event is organized by volunteers, supported by: Vitas România, TNT România, Bicicleta Pegas, French Institute in Timișoara, the “Csiky Gergely” Magyar Theatre in Timișoara, the “Mihai Eminescu” National Theatre in Timișoara, the Timiș County Culture Direction, the Banat Philharmonic, the Auăleu Theatre, Documentor, Polish Institute in Bucharest, AMBASADA, MISC.
