After the official release which took place at the TIFF Cluj, on June 1, 2018, the collection edition of the book and Blu-ray of the feature film
Aurora, directed by
Cristi Puiu will be launched in Bucharest as well.
The event will take place
on June 8, from 20:00, at the Cărturești Verona Garden, in the presence of the director.
Issued in a limited edition (only 300 unique, numbered copies), the collection edition includes the Blu-ray with the film (with English and French subtitles), an interview made by Mihnea Măruță (with the English version) and a selection of 48 p
hotographs made by Sorin Nainer on the film set.
The Blu-ray also includes a scene which was not included in the edited version of the film. As all the other collection editions of the director Cristi Puiu, this one will also be a special one: each copy will include 8 unique, original photograms of the 35 mm film that Aurora was shot on.
Aurora is one Cristi Puiu`s most important and ambitious projects. The film had its world release during the 2010 Cannes International Film Festival (the Un Certain Regard section). The Romanian premiere was in February 2011.
