Roxanne, the feature film debut of director
Valentin Hotea, may be viewed on Cinepub, the Romanian film online platform.
About the film, the director stated: “It talks about my generation, who lived half their lives under a totalitarian regime, and the other half in a society that is still looking for some inner peace.”
Tavi (
Şerban Pavlu) is 38 years old and still likes to behave like a child. His life is divided between computer graphics, a sick mother and a not too serious relationship with Oana. Things get complicated when he decides to ask his file from Securitate (the communist Secret Police): he discovers he has a son he knew nothing of.
