He made his acting debut at the age of 13 and he has starred in over 30 independent short films. In 2013 he played the part of Marian in the miniseries “Déjà vu, Darling”, produced by Nisi Masa in France. In the same year, the Belgian director Armel Roussel choses to work with Gabriel on the project “Europes” as part of the larger project “Cities on Stage” held at the National Theatre in Brussels. In the fall of 2013 he worked as a performer on the show “Lucrător 2.0”/ “Worker 2.0”, directed by Ioana Păun and presented in a national tour financed by AFCN. In 2014 he played the leading roles in the medium-length films Dristor, directed by Ioan George Pancencu, and United, We Save, shot in Denmark by the director Iben Ravn. He played in the show "Hai iu iu Nu Hi you you", directed by Radu Afrim and accompanied by Vlaicu Golcea’s score, and in the show “West Side Story", directed by Răzvan Mazilu and produced by the National Theatre Festival in 2014.
