Victor Rebengiuc, celebrated by the 2018 Romanian Film Evenings in Iași
The actor is the special guest of the 9th edition of the Romanian Film Evenings (June, 6-10) and the retrospective will include the films in which he played memorable parts. Victor Rebengiuc will attend the opening gala of the festival which will celebrate his entire career in front of the audience from Iași and alongside other actors that he had played with.
Victor Rebengiuc sent a message to the Romanian film lovers in Iași: “The films that will be presented during the Romanian Film Evenings will be some of the films that I enjoyed being a part of and I`m sure you will also like watching or re-watching them again. It`s a great joy for me to come to Iași again. I love your city, though I know quite little about it, but as much I got to know of it, it won me over and I`m looking forward to meeting you! I wish you all the best in the world and I can`t wait for us to shake hands at the beginning of June, by the shore of Bahlui.” Some of Victor Rebengiuc`s friends and colleagues that he had worked with along the years will also be present at the event.
We wanted very much to have a retrospective of the films in which the actor Victor Rebengiuc played memorable parts that we will never forget. We decided to make the announcement of our guest of honour on this very day, when the actor is celebrated. We chose these films together, with the help of our ambassador, Irina-Margareta Nistor”, Andrei Giurgia, the director of the Romanian Film Evenings said.
The project The Romanian Film Evenings was awarded for two yers in a row (2016-2017) by the “Al. I.Cuza” University in Iași, during the opening of the university years (-2017, 2017-2018), in the contest of projects initiated and organized by the NGOs.
