10 Romanian shorts at DaKINO 25  


     DaKINO 25 will open on Wednesday, 13 April 2016, at 19.30, at Hollywood Multiplex Bucharest Mall, with the national premiere of Room, a feature directed by Lenny Abrahamson.
     DaKINO 25 will also screen the features: The Program (directed by Stephen Frears), Listen to Me Marlon (directed by Stevan Riley) and Maggie’s Plan (directed by Rebecca Miller).
    Within this anniversary edition, DaKINO will present the program 25 for 25, dedicated to young filmmakers who currently are of the same age as the Festival: actor Anghel Damian, directors Roxana Stroe and Lara Ionescu, director of photography Tudor Platon; furthermore, special screenings will be held for three shorts signed by experienced directors: În care eroina se ascunde și apoi are parte de o întâlnire neașteptată (Where the Heroine Hides and Then Has an Unexpected Encounter) (directed by Tudor Cristian Jurgiu), O faptă bună (A Good Deed) (directed by Andrei Gruzsniczki) and Meda (directed by Emanuel Pârvu)
     DaKINO 25 Shorts Competition includes 25 national and international productions, selected by film reviewer Irina-Margareta Nistor, of which 10 titles are Romanian:
The Consecration, directed by Tudor Botezatu
The Nanny, directed by Andrei Cotarcea
A Dangerous Game, directed by Ștefan Marin & Rareș Neagu
Ecce H… Little Man, directed by Bogdan Mihăilescu
Hypotheses or Predictions Based on Theories, directed by Andreea Păduraru
Toaster, directed by Cristian Pop
Vagabonds ‘89, directed by Andrei Ștefan Răuțu
To Ana. Yours, Santa, directed by Mirona Radu
New Me, directed by Ionuț Lucian Rusu
Plan B, directed by Simona Sava.
     DaKINO International Film Festival will be held during 13-17 April 2016, at Hollywood Multiplex Bucharest Mall.
